About TJ Black
TJ Black is a mixed media and furniture artist and musician based in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana. In his 15 years as a professional artist, he has produced more than 3,000 paintings. His work is a mix of modern and pop art and often music-inspired, an "un-apologetic [style]... lo-fi expressions of color with pop sensibilities that lack the un-necessary—eye melting wall candy."
You may recognize Black's trademark style; he also produced portraits of the 2013 performers that were auctioned to benefit the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation.
